You can make a subscription for a mobile phone plan and acquire a Brazilian cell phone number or you can avoid giving up of your current number from your home country by buying a virtual chip/card (e-SIM).
To make a subscription for a telephone plan and acquire a Brazilian cell phone number, the most common telephone companies in Brazil are Claro, Vivo, Oi and Tim. You can purchase a plan from these operators by going to one of their stores.
In order to avoid giving up of your telephone number from your home country, some companies offer the possibility of a virtual chip/card (e-SIM).
